Hi, I just need your help.. Here's the scenario:
My boyfriend was nominated by his wife as Provincial Nominee last Sept 2012. However, they are married here on the Philippines and we do not have any divorce. They already filed for divorce in Canada and once the papers come out and finally divorced in Canada, he is planning to get me under Common Law sponsorship. We need help or clarification if that is possible since under the Philippine Law he is still married. We need help as to what options we have.
even if he is divorced in Canada his status is still married sa Pinas therefore he can't sponsor you for common law unless you're aready here but since you are not you have to look for other options maybe FSW, Express Entry or Student Visa
