ASKED TO PAY RPRF: JUNE 2013
ASKED TO EXPLAIN FINANCIAL SITUATION: AUGUST 2013
CASE REJECTED: OCT 2013 *(FAILED TO REPLY TO VO WITHIN 30 DAY TIMEFRAME)*
LETTER RECEIVED: DEC 2013
APPEALED: JANUARY 2014
WON ADR: OCTOBER 06 2014

Hey guys,

Finally, we won our ADR on Oct 06th and I would like to know what is the timeline after ADR for Colombo Visa Post? Anybody with similar experience? Or, if there is a website that I can refer to where I can check the processing times, I would really appreciate it.

Processing times after ADR are not published. I'd recommend you ask this question in the appeals thread.

I paid RPRF. already with the application. Is it wrong? I thought they will judge us like oh you couldn't pay this amount how u going to take care of ur spouse. so i paid. I am sponsoring my husband. I just sent the aplication on dec 11, 2014. I got his qatar clearance. everything i send in with the application. like SL clearance medical and all. I am just scared because qatar clearance expire in 6 months.


help me. How long will take them to ask me for qatar clearance?

Hi tranjini,

paying rprf up front shouldn't be a problem, perhaps I personally think it's a good move.

Did you get your approval as a sponsor yet ? CIC will send your file to your CO once this is done. After couple months from then they will request for ppc and ppr. If it does expires that time, they will ask you to re-issue another one. Are you with the colombo VO?

YES I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A FILE NUMBER YET. MY APPLICATION IS STILL IN MISSISAUGA. WHAT IS PPR WHAT IS PPF? WHAT IS ADR?
