Hi.
I applied for my co-op work permit alongside the study permit application. However in the POE letter it says that my study visa was approved( nothing about co-op work permit is mentioned). Is there any way to confirm whether my co-op work permit was approved alongside my study permit , before landing in canada and hoping to receive both of them?
Hey I was able to know from my GCMS notes that I was also approved for co-op work permit. When you travel make sure to keep a document or proof that says you are required to work for your degree and show it to the officer at POE. Most probably, they will issue it without asking for it but you can ask for if you can obtain it right there.

I don’t really remember but I was advised by my co-op advisor to request the officer to issue the co-op permit by showing the proof that you need to work (eg: letter, curriculum). In most cases, they issue it without asking for it or they might tell you to apply for it immediately inside Canada but that is less likely.
