Co-op diploma study permit

So I basically applied to uk this Jan 2019 for a student visa and got refused for very minor and stupid reasons.

I'm now applying for canada study permit into toronto school of management for a co-op diploma course.

Now my question is will my uk refusal cause any problems for my study permit I will obviously explain this refusal clearly in my SOP.

Also I've got an offer letter for a co-op diploma course as an undergraduate.
Will this cause any problems for study permit??

Two agents whom I've contacted have said that it won't if I specify my reasons in my SOP.

If there is anyone here who has went to canada for a diploma program in co-op as an undergraduate I'd appreciate your help.
