I want to know how long must I work for the employer to whom my work permit is tied to before I can apply for open work permit.


PS I am not under the live-in caregiver program.

PS I am not under the live-in caregiver program.

Not unless you apply for PR, receive your AOR and have less then 4 months on your work permit, then you can apply for a bridging open work permit, or are accepted on a PNP program. Otherwise you are pretty well out of luck.
