I have recieved my ITA and have to submit the documents now. I have claimed points for sibling in canada (15 points). My brother is PR of Canada and was in Canada when I created my profile and also when I received my ITA, but he had to temporarily fly down to India due to personal exigency and plans to be here for next three to four months. I have his address proofs of Canada like bank and credit card statements etc.
Can I still claim sibling points even if he is temporarily out of Canada when I submit my application? Shall I fill his current location as Canada or current country of residence? (this will probably impact the CRS score). Please guide.

To be safe. Edit your profile and remove the sibling points. If your points fall below the cutoff score, then decline the invite and wait for next draw.
If he can provide a copy of his PR, utility bill, his passport copy (data page), birth certificate that shows his your brother with the same father or mother, tax form that will be fine.
My brother is a Canadian PR and lives in Canada. He has documents to prove his residence (Utility bill, Bank statement etc). However right now he is visiting outside Canada so if I apply for PR right now he will not be present in Canada. Does he have to be present in Canada at the time of application?
