Now not so good news. Canada place was flooded last night:

The flooding started on the 4th floor, while the CIC office is likely at the 2nd floor (suite 2XX, do not recall exact #), so I hope none of the physicial files have been affected.
It is not clear yet if the building will re-open tomorrow.
congrats jcp488, long wait comes to an end for you my friend, i am still waiting though i think i took the exam two days before you did on the 14th. i am worried mybe there is something wrong nd they will ask me more proof more bullshyt! i am tired of this and just want be done with it.
Congrats ! Everyone who got their Oath invitation. I still didn't get my invite although me and my wife wrote and passed the test 4 Nov 2013. We were told that everything is allright and will get our Oath in 3-4 months. God knows where they put our file. Its more than 5 years in Canada and our PR card are expired in Jan this year and we were hoping to become citizen. But God knows where our file stuck.

The office seems to be speeding up somewhat, if the test is expected within 18 months from the application date. At least, it is not the full 24 months anymore . If their estimate is true, that is.

yes i did, sorry i forget to update you guys, i am having my oath on the 25th! its gonna be a special day for me cant wait. i am ready to be officially canadian!
