Wow! Too good to be true? Test taken 02 Oct2012, today I see ecas updated, that letter to take t.he oath was send Nov 1st to take the Oath in the 16! Not even a month processing time? Cannot beleve it! Anybody else? It is Glen Erin.

Congats!I hope i can hear also after a month.I took the test 30Oct 2012.

Submitted application mid Dec 2011, procesing started July 2012, test 02 Oct 2012, oath 16 Nov 2012. Have not received the letter yet, as it was mailed Thursday only.

I don't know how many times they are conduction Citizenship in a month. Well, test was on September 17th. at Glen Erin Office.

My test was on Oct 19,2012. I m also hoping to get the oath letter soon......I m glad to see that the Glen Erin office is now processing faster for the oath....

Thanks I will for sure update, my process started 2008, and test in 2009 its been 4 years now waiting, judge hearing went well, and he said he has 60 days to make decision but will take it in a week, but have not heard anything from them ... hoping to hear some thing soon .

I had frequent travels, and i have no idea why they took so long, i renewed my PR and forgot bout it and one day i hear about judge!!! i think they did our backgrounds twice and they expired.

Here are my time lines . I sat the test recently in Glen Erin on November 1st

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 9, 2012.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 9, 2012.

We started processing your application on October 10, 2012.

We sent you a notice on October 19, 2012 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 1, 2012 at 4:00 PM.

My (Family application) timeline is

Application sent and acknowledgement received 31st Oct 2011

Process started on 3rd May 2012

File transferred to local office 8th june 2012 (mississauga)

I just got my test date, which will be on 7th Dec 2012, at 8.15 am.... Thanks Allah...
the issuing date on letter was 22nd Nov 2012, For your information this was a family application (Mine, spouse's and 2 kids.)
just to share my timeline again...
Application sent and received on 31st Oct 2011.
Process started on 3rd May 2012.
File transfered to Mississauga office on 8th June 2012
Test Date 7th December 2012
