I got PR in Mar 2018(Spent 6 months and moved back to India around Sep 2018) and now my citizenship timeframe is Dec 28 2019 - Dec 27 2024.
I landed back in June 2021 so I spent close to 2.5 years but duing that time also I filed all my taxes for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and had proper canadian ties like Bank account, License, Residential address. So my question is while submitting Citizenship application should I mentioned all my canadian addresses or should I mention Indian address as well or just the Indian address?
Can we have 2 address for same time period (i.e. in my case Dec 27 2019 - Jun 5 2021). Can I mention both indian and canadian addresses. Is there any timeframe for which we consider as a new address for residency? For example: I went to India last year for 3 months of Vacation so in this case I'll write only Canadian address and not Indian.
Pls share your experience and let me know if any details needed
Not sure what's actually urgent in this request but whatever...
But to answer your questions : for both the address history and work history, you have to cover the whole 5 years eligibility period, and give the most truthful and complete answer.
To clarify : if you lived in India, it doesn't matter that you had "residential ties" to Canada, you didn't live there at the time, so list the indian address. Same logic as owning 2 properties in Canada, people are only supposed tk list the one where they actually lived...
For work history, people can have more than one job, like working remotely for a company in Canada while also having a job in India. In a case like that, no issues listing both jobs regardless of where you were physically present.
And, as for the duration of a vacation above which you should list the vacation in your address history, not sure really, and as far as I know, IRCC doesn't list the "official timeframe" here. It's more of a judgement call. IRCC doesn't care about the address of a couple weeks trip to NY or a month touring France, but dunno if 3 months is considered "living somewhere". But in case of doubts for extended vacations, there's absolutely no harm listing them.

Assume you filed taxes as a non-resident for the years you didn’t live in Canada and also asked CRA to determine your tax residency status. A residential address, a license and often bank accounts does not mean you have enough ties to Canada to make you a resident or tax resident. You only had one residential address when you weren’t living in Canada.

Just added to my previous post but OP correct in saying OP had only one residential address when they didn’t live in Canada. They should have also been listing their foreign address and that they were a non-resident during that period and CRA can determine if they were a non-resident but a tax resident. I would assume based on the fact that they initially spent minimal time in Canada that they were not tax residents when they were in India.
