I got my oath notice today.

So my full timeline for Hamilton is as follows:

Application received: 28 October 2013
In process: 13 December 2013
Test: 30 June 2014
Oath: 26 August 2014

All in all 10 months, so pretty quick.

hi, I was browsing just to check the timeline for oath at Hamilton office and came across this page. my test was on 7th of july and I'm waiting for my oath ceremony. I was told by the officer that it will take couple of weeks for the oath invitation .Any july test takers here. any idea how long it will take for my oath.

Hi Forum Members,
I want to know, how long it tak to receive test date after Citizenship application is in processing queue. Or anyone know, how many times test is conducted in a year?
I applied on Mar 28, application was received on April 4 and its in processing since May 26.

We became Canadians today. There were 60 people at the oath ceremony at Hamilton this morning. many of the people who had the test on 30 June with us were there.

I guess it takes about 7 weeks at Hamilton after your test to get an oath invite.

Regarding your question I believe our files were transferred in mid May and our test date was 30 June, so I would say about 6 weeks.

Hope that helps and after test about 7 weeks for oath. At the interview we were told to expect oath in 6-8 weeks so spot on.
