Hello all, has anyone received the citizenship certificate lately? And how long was the waiting time from the date it was mailed?
My application status now is Complete, and certificate was sent to my embassy on August 4. Just want to get an idea when I could get it, since I'm in a rush to apply for the passport.
I had my oat ceremony yesterday, August 13. I was told that it would take up to 4weeks to receive citizenship certificate, mainly due to ongoing disputes between government and labor union of Canada Post. Lot of Canada post shipments are delayed these days.
My ceremony took place on 04th August and my certificate arrived yesterday .. it took 7 business days for my certificate to arrive .
During the oath I was informed by my officer it usually take 2-4 weeks for the certificate to arrive
I also had the virtual ceremony on 13 Aug, my Ecas status is still decision made. I will let you know when I receive the certificate, they told me it could take up to 4 weeks. I'm in Edmonton.

Hi, today I got my status updated on Ecas, it shows complete. Also, the certificate was in the mail box. So, for Edmonton applicants, it seems the status gets updated as soon as they mail the certificate.
. Are you a June 2019 applicant too?
