Hello, this morning I noticed an update on my file. My file has been closed . I called to ask about my certificate if it has been sent and I was told that it should have been sent yesterday but there is no note on my file. Can I send an email to calgary office to ask if it has been mailed ?

Hello everyone, are recent timelines for the Citizenship certificate changed? Because I see it is now showing 17 months, is that literally correct? or anybody who had their oath ceremony at end of June or July got their certificates within 2 weeks or so?
I did mine on June 29th. No certificate received yet. I even told the agent before being admitted to the Oath that I needed this urgently. He assured that he would send it out the next day on Thursday (June 30th). Friday being a holiday didnt help. But coming from Mississauga it shouldn't take this long. Hoping I get it soon.

@intensecool did you attend the oath at 7:45am on July 5th? If yes then can you please let me know the initial of the clerk. I don’t remember the name (initial) of the clerk. I emailed my signed certificate mentioning the judge’s name along with file # and family name.

I requested urgent processing and it was approved - on July 19th during oath, an IRCC official told me that the certificate will be expedited and sent via Purolator (do we get a tracking number for this?) How long does it take based on this information?

Hello all,
I did my oath on 13th July, my ceremony status got completed on 15th of July, my application was closed on 18th of July. I called ircc just to confirm when did they send in the certificate and the agent told me that the office of Winnipeg sent the certificate on 15th of July through regular post to edmonton. I haven’t received the certificate yet. I checked on canada post website, it says it takes 2 days to deliver. I am worried. Is this long time gap between delivery normal? Anyone?
