They asked my wife about e-certificate themselves during oath ceremony on May 31st. Although they haven't yet sent the instructions for her to download the e-certificate.

Ok so it doesn’t mean that you get ecert after 24 hours !
Did your wife mentioned any urgent situation like a confirmed travel or emergency to provide her ecert option.

No, she didn't say anything. They just asked her themselves during the ceremony if she would prefer a paper certificate or an e-certificate. She told them she would like the e-certificate.

Thanks. I had my oath on May 15 with MB office and Vancouver was processing office. My status was closed on May 20 and haven’t received the certificate. I emailed them and they stated that it’s still in progress and not mailed out yet. So it’s kind of weird and my address is in MB too.
I mailed my oath office (Niagara Falls) at the email in the oath affirmation form (same email you receive the oath invite from) and requested that I would like an e-certificate. They replied positively. I would suggest you do the same and not wait for the oath ceremony to request it with the clerk. During the oath ceremony you can just remind the clerk that you have opted for the e-certificate.
