Hi,
My mother will became Canadian citizen in next few months. She will obtain canadian citizenship by naturalization. Prevously she was Permanent Resident for 5 years.
My question is may I obtain canadian citizenship after my mother got it?
What is your status in Canada? Are you a permanent resident? How old are you?
I am 30 years old and I was Permanent resident but I spent only 4 months in Canada during the year 2006 and lost my permanent resident status because of that. Now I am living in Europe and want to move to Canada.
Then no - you definitely do not qualify for citizenship through your mother. If you want to become a citizen, you'll first need to become a PR again and then physically live in Canada long enough to qualify to apply for citizenship.
