Just got off the phone with ircc...was told my application is returned...they can’t find me in system..agent told does not matter the laws change processing time and process is still same ...application was delivered on oct 19...travelling today for 3 weeks..so delayed more now..screw you ircc

Good news here! I'm an Oct 16th app. and I just got the AOR email!!!
"Funny thing", as mentioned before, I had access to eCAS since Nov. 22nd. and the letter attached to the email that I just received is dated Nov. 21st... I don't know why the email delayed so much.

I asked you, because my application and my husband application, both were received October 19, i received my aor November 23, but my husband didnt received aor, but he was able to see the same message that you in his ecas, yesterday we call IRCC, they gave him his application number, and said that hi will received the aor later, because there is a delay. I dont understand why is that, because we sent both applications together in the same enveloppe...anyway... i think is the same case that your.
The Refugee Board took the passport i came to Canada with at the time i claimed refugee. They usually give it back to people at the time of landing paper, yet they never gave it back to me. I then issued a new passport through embassy in Toronto in 2014.
My concern is that i know at the time of the citizenship test/interview, they would ask the applicant to bring all original documents. And I unfortunately do not have my original first passport and I did not explain it in application that it is not with me, and its with CIC. I have already got AOR.
Do you think that I need to report to CIC that this passport is still with them or they know already to prevent any delay in the process?
