I mentioned the reason in my first post.
However, long story short, due to the high number of applicants this month, having one thread for discussions will be extremely difficult to track.
The spreadsheet is only for a more focused tracking purpose, as it involves only the people who has applications as of this week only.

That is totally silly and pointless as you can't use any of the Historial but recent data as reference points. So actually this thread and spreadsheet are of no use to anyone until someone's application is approved.
You'd be far better of joining everyone else in the other thread and the other spreadsheet which will allow applicants to actually determine historical trends etc which will actually give them insight.

I totally appreciate your input, though I disagree with your "silly" call-out on this thread.
Allow me to point out three facts:
1. This thread (spreadsheet) is not prohibiting anyone from posting his/her information in the big spreadsheet.
2. The historical data (call it trend) from February to the end of September 2017 will be in fact misleading!
The reason is simple: October 11 is the date when suddenly you have tens of thousands of people who can/will apply. Hence, the historical data won't matter anymore, as the circumstances have changed significantly.
3. Over the next months, we (the people of the October 16-20 *lol*) will have a chance to discuss our progress and challenges in this thread.
good point, the original oct spreadsheet already has more than 100 entries

so we all send to Nova Scotia first (stage 1) and then it gets forwarded to the office depending on our location (processing office, stage 2); am i right? anyone knows if some offices are faster or slower and which?
long time ago the offices in quebec were much slower than ontario for example, hope it's not the case anymore
