delivered on oct 18th , No AOR yet. Submitted a CSE and Spoke to CIC today. they said still they haven't opened my application and looks like application is not returned either. It appears to be delay on few files randomly( and i'm one of them ), will wait for few more days as the representative suggested.

Can somone please explain to me what is RQ? And why would the officer need your lease/rental agreement?

RQ=residence questionnire. It will ask you to provide documents proving your residence in Canada and rental/lease agreements is one of them.

plus, does "In process" mean able to find my process information on ecas? or when the ecas system says the process is "in process"?
because i just tried ecas and it didn't even let me logged in until yesterday but now i can see the process information but,
it doesn't say "In process" it says "application received"

Good news guys. I just got my AOR just now Dec-20-2017 at 2:20pm EST. Sooo happy this is a very good Christmas gift for me.
The rest of the 16th October applicants do not lose hope .. you will get it soon.

Did the mail receiver (Probably the security guard or mailman) opened your file right way and put that into the system and sent you AOR in less than 24 hrs?

He probably meant december 20 ....

Your status in ecas will change to "In Process"
