Hi all
As an October 16 applicant I waited until January 9 for an AOR. SADLY my application was lost even though it shows as delivered.

I wish you all good luck but if you haven’t received an AOR you must reapply without a question.

You will see 4 lines on e-cas, with third line stating 'We started processing your application on XXXXX'

Hello friends! I had applied on 13 October and No AOR yet did all kind of attempts to dig out info about my application but results failed so now am planning to Reapply for that I am seeking help from those friends who had reapplied already and my question for those :- have you guys mentioned anywhere in your application that you had applied once but no AOR yet bec of that reason reapplying and please Process this application faster or is there any way we should let IRCC know that it’s our reapplication kindly share your guys experience which may help me out from this situation

3. We started processing your application on November 24, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on January 3, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

I called them so many times some say re-apply some say keep waiting...

I applied on Oct 13th, application received on October 16th, and still no AOR. I contacted them multiples times, same response "we could not find our application". Problem is they won't admit that they lost it, so whether you need to wait or re-apply is entirely up to you at this stage. I will wait till end of January, and in the case of no AOR, I will re-apply. Better safe than late.

When you come to this appointment, you must bring with you:
- This notice;
- 2 pieces of personal identification, one of which has your photograph and signature
on it; (e.g. driver's license, health card, Permanent Resident Card, etc.); Note:
minors are not required to show identification with a signature.
- All your original documents that support your citizenship application (as listed in the document
checklist in the citizenship application form);
- Permanent Resident Card (if you have ever received one);
- All passports and travel documents in your possession (current and expired).

I reading the above and am wondering if one needs to bring his minor at the test/intervew. I have applied for me and my child, but I was under impression that I would be the only one that goes to test/interview.

My new application was delivered today so No AOR yet. However you need to reapply ASAP don’t wait this long. I made that mistake.

do you know anyone that has reapplied and got AOR with the new applicaiton.some applicants from 15th october are getting AOR lately .either way my application was delivered on 23rd oct so i will waittill the the end of jan.dont know how the heck cic works with all the application.
