I will try to call CIC and ask them about that. I hope, that we will get new forms by the noon.
Its pretty hard to call to CIC, so please guys try to call them too.

Hi All,

I have some questions :
I can't seem to print Citizenship Form (Adult).?? Any idea..it has some security permissions.

Also, its kind of confusing me.. how is 4 years counted ...? 2017,2016,2015,2014 and 2013 ( i.e Partially Present in Canada since Aug 2013).

Does Travelling while Employed/Unemployed considered as Living outside Canada?
Is Expired IELTS still considered as Language Proof?

1) You would be able to print by tomorrow, most probably
2) four years counted from the day you sign your application, e.g 11 OCT 2017 goes 4 years back to 11 OCT 2013
3) depend on how long, short term trips don't

According to current instructions, yes, you need police certificate and other details.

I already provided them one for PR application when I was back home and all other details, where is the point !!??!!

I didn't make instructions, it is what it is, if they change it tomorrow, we will follow the new one

The sad part is that there will not be an update indicator as the month/year indicator already shows OCT 2017 so we will just have to keep downloading to check if printing has been enabled.

I was hoping to have the application printed and mailed at Canada Post for 8:00AM pickup in the morning. Seems like that is not going to happen now.

Guys, the updated guide (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp#Step3) requires:

"if you had a passport in the past 5 years:

• photocopies of 1 piece of government issued identification with your name, date of birth and photograph"

Would providing a copy of PR card be sufficient here? My Driver's License and Medical card had expired, and the interim cards that I have with me currently do not have a photograph on them, and the new, permanent ones will arrive later in the month. Any advice?

I believe it should be alright to send PR card as ID. I'm doing the same.

But the guide doc asks for PASSPORT and not BIO PAGES!
