Hi, thanks for reply. Could you please share that when it was updated on System ? I checked mine but nothing is there as my application was received on 27th of December too.
It was updated today march 2nd only. Aren't you optimistic?

Thanks. I am optimistic but at the same time, frustrated too. Because waiting in dark is very hard.
No specific set date. Normally 35-60 days
Hope for best - good luck
Thanks Badar14

Hi Guys,
Just received the FP request and it says the FP should be sent to Toronto. Does that mean this is my processing office?

St. Clair office deals with FP applicants. However, not sure if after FP completion/ clearance, you would stay in St. Clair or directed to Mississauga office. One of the applicant from Bradford after FP completion got test invite from Hamilton office.
We got test invite today. I have following two questions:
- Does the officer conduct the interview of couple at same time where couple is sitting side by side?
- Invitation letter clearly says to arrange someone to take cate of young children otherwise leave them with someone. What about infant? We have 6 months old boy. Can we take him with us for test and interview?

Yes, you will be together during the interview. For simple cases it’s not really an interview rather just verification of your original documents and you have to sign two pages. One regarding probation and other to declare that all statements you have made are true.
For test, you will sit in different row than your spouse. I would suggest take someone along with you who can take care of your six months old outside or in public area (not sure which office is yours) during your test (which is maximum 30 mins) and then for interview which is like a 15 mins.

Well, it's very clear. From what I have heard, they are not flexible when it comes to children (including babies). So, you better organize yourself accordingly.

Thanks rajmalhotra7
Do you how would it take approximately to get a test invite after doing the FP based on other applicants feedback ?

Sorry. Hard to say that, but you can look at the applicants who have received FP and then test invite. Every case is different though and the good thing is that FP request these days is not causing significant delays to timeline.
So I have noticed something on our spreedsheet for those waiting for In Process. It seems a whole swatch of November/December applicants has been skipped over and they moved into late December and January. Has anyone contacted CIC to ask about their file that is in the same boat as me?

That's nothing new, always been the trend. No point calling them, only thing to do is be patient.

We shall do it, thanks.

We shall make some arrangement for our infant. Thanks
