Well... first, the agents can't really tell whether they have or have not your application. All they can do is to check the system to see if there is any records on you. Obviously, there is nothing in there as your file hasn't been opened yet.
Secondly, the same way they told me last Fri, that all 100% applicants from Oct 16 had already got AORs, and I have to wait at least for 6 more weeks (till mid Jan) to re-apply.
At the same time, if you check the spread sheet, there are plenty of people still waiting. All that says to me, their agents are not so helpful.

Plus, if you take a look at Nov applicants, no one has got AOR yet. That means, they are still working on October files.
And their phone system still plays the same message: "If you applied on or after Oct 19, your application hasn't been processed yet". (it's been for a couple of week thou).
They are trying to tell us, that if we applied on or after Oct 19, please, don't even call, coz it's too early.

Dont worry. Have some patience. You will get AOR soon and dont call CIC. They will be of no help now.

Personally I called them twice. Each time was a completely different outcome.
Nobody stops you from contacting them. My point is that most likely they won't be really helpful. But you can definitely try.

Oh... funny... I still remember you from PR application discussion 2.5 years ago :) Were you among Feb applicants?

Lol. Yeah I was one of those feb applicants. Later I had to withdrew my CEC application after I got PR under FSW. They gave me really hard time man. Looool

Why nobody reports any AOR today?
My application delivered on Oct 16 and now I'm impatiently waiting for AOR or any update from people who are in the same boat :(
It is exactly 7 weeks since Oct 16 applications are delivered.

They usually roll out in morning and in evening. Today they haven't rolled out in morning, so hopefully in evening (6pm - 8pm EST):)
