My application went in Progress on Sep 21st but still I have not got the test invite, is that normal?
Also for test how much time is the preparation needed? Do we need to just listen to audio book or more resources needed?

1 WHICH COMPANY DID FP for you? Should the company send the FP directly and electronically to RCMP ?
2 RCMP ALSO SENDS RESULT ELECTRONICALLY TO IRCC ? or only postal mail to Vancouver? Do we need to tell the company doing FP the address of IRCC at Vancouver so they can tell RCMP where to send results?

When you go for your finger prints it's faster and efficient to opt for electronic finger prints and yes give them the address. At least that's what I did.
Good Luck

Accredited agencies, e.g. commissionaires, send the FP electronically to the RCMP and authorize FP processing unit of the RCMP (central unit which processes the submitted FP) to forward the report to asking CIC.
However, what I knew from the people here who did at local RCMP is: the local RCMP sends the report electronically to the FP processing unit of RCMP (central unit which processes the submitted FP), that unit sends back the report to you and you are supposed to forward it to CIC. (Some people in this forum kept it with themselves thinking it was their copy, but realized later that it was supposed to be forwarded to CIC, beware of that).
The CIC letter clearly instructs where to send your FP.
