Citizenship application in August 2017

...Two days ago I received by the mail an envelope from the CIC. Unfortunately it's enclosed / QUALITY ASSURANCE EXERCISE AND REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE or RESIDENCE QUESTIONNAIRE.

Do you mind sharing where are you originally from?
I feel some nationalities always get this kind of requests

Also random question, did you have to update your mailing address in ecas or that was not the case?

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on September 26, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on September 28, 2017.

I also revived finger printing on Oct 12, Which I have already submitted my office is St. Clair Toronto

My Finger print letter was from St. Clair Toronto. I think it is kind of a general office not the office that actually process your application (could any one confirm this conclusion). Just curious what is your city?

My address is in Waterloo and there is an Immigration office in Kitchener

I am sending my canadian citizenship application tomorrow but I don’t know if I need to put a return envelope, It’s not on the checklist. And also PR confirmation copy and Income Tax copy. Should I add it to my application?

I advise you to enclose your citizenship application (PR Confirmation copy + Income Tax copy for the last 3 years) the income tax copies gives positive support to your argument, best luck dude.

I just meant if they entered your mailing address correctly online without the need to update it.
I am asking because I notice that they usually send the RQ at the same date the status switches to in process. In my case at the time my application status switched to in process my address was still incorrect on ecas online. I am scared they may have sent an RQ on my old address and I have no idea about that!

Usually if they send you a correspondence you will see it on Ecas also. Check your Ecas to see if they send you any.

I do always check it Catharines but there is nothing. I am asking because according to my knowledge they don't really add it online when they send a RQ. I guess Alsaour can confirm if he can see it on his ecas.

Mine is saint Clair too. My wife got fingerprint request letter dated October 06.
