I'm not 100% positive, but I believe that by resending a new application you re-start the process. Bonne chance, and hopefully everything goes smoothly now!
I am planning to travel abroad. Anyone kindly advise me the normal time frame from sending application to further notice/ test/ etc.? Flight tickets are so expensive that I cant afford to fly back and forth. Thanks.

Between application delivery date and test date you will have two-three months in the most optimistic scenario. 5-6 weeks to get acknowledgment of receipt, minimum 3-4 weeks to get test invite, minimum 2-4 weeks to wait for test. I would not worry about getting invited. I would rather worry about getting stuck in backlog. Very few June applications got test invite until today. Things are slowing down.
I really dont remember the days. Just sent the package and have no ideas about it after 2 weeks!!! But its about 20 days above the minimum requirement. My apologies.
