Citizenship application in August 2017

Sent application on July 16th 2017. received acknowledgement for exams in December to sit on January 2018. Yesterday checked for status of application, I saw that Decision Made, for me, but for my minor son,In Process. can you explain?

That is how it's done for applications with minors, so it's normal.

I just called CIC to ask if they have received my finger prints and they confirmed yes since March 14 .
does it mean security check is done ?
am I receiving DM soon ?

Usually cic take 3-4 weeks after receving FP. In my case FP reach Jan 19 and DM on feb 15.

FP on e case Jan 15, letter from st Clair Jan 18, FP done Jan 18, RCMP sent to cic Jan 19(confirmed on phone no response to update email) DM feb 15.

My tax 2017 I sent only 10 days ago, got my assessment already filed to me by RCA by post today. Why so long for CIC to process documents with final decisions and even with Decision Made status for those people who need it for a little travel near?

As far as Montreal Oath invites are concerned there is nothing after March 2018, as for Calgary I can see Oath Centres booked till end of April and first week of May 2018. Not a fair treatment at all. After the exams results given to me, the Officer asked me why isn t my husband of 62 years not filing for citizenship? I had exams to complete, but he hasn t and I believe his assessment will be quicker than what I am enduring.
