After that absolutely nothing. 1st time i called they told me my eligibility is being reviewed and file was at sydney.
2nd and last time, about 3weeks ago i think l, i called they told me my file is at ndvo so we wont tell anything, contact lvo. I havent called or emailed any1 after that. Yes people from july are getting ppr but cic never promised us anything. I will still feel lucky if i get canadian pr. Dont ruin this journey with hastiness and impatience. At the end we all will be there if cic wants us. Just relax and keep the atmosphere cordial so every1 can know updates and latest trends. I think this was the purpose of this thread. Peace
Yes....we have to be patient. Each of our journeys are different. I have been in NA from June as well. The only saving grace is that I got notes which showed that everything is normal. Just gotta wait it out......

Hey all, seems I'm finally out of CIO, after my initial email to Ottawa on 27th July and same day response where I was told my file was still at CIO, I noticed my document status changed on 9th August to "we do not need additional documents"and decided to send another email on Friday 18th August in hopes that it had finally been moved to an LVO. I got a response from London this morning that my application is with them and is awaiting review.
So fingers crossed, I'll continue to keep the faith and hope for the very best.
I also hope that everyone whose applications have had lengthy stays at CIO have their files moved to LVOs in the nearest future and wish us all the very best for the rest of the journey!
Going through the forum, I noticed background checks for several applications at CIO Sydney are stuck at NA for more than a month after medicals passed, including mine. I decided to create this thread for us to track our timelines so we can have realistic expectations from CIO Sydney, including when they move our files to LVO.
Timeline below:
AOR : 25 April
Med passed: 18 June
IPI/NA: 19 June
No updates since then. File still at Sydney after enquiry last week
