I have recently created an express entry profile. I have 1.5 years of continuous experience in Canada.
For my Foreign experience, I have 2 months gap. Jan 2015 - June 2015(Paid Intern) and from Sep 2015 - July 2016 under same employer and NOC(Computer programmer).
In my express entry profile I received 26 points for this under "CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience" section and It also says I am eligible for Federal Skilled Worker.
But my lawyer keep saying that I shouldn't be getting the points for my foreign experience even under CEC category. She also keep saying that as I became qualified to practice in my occupation after my undergraduate degree which was May 2015, I shouldn't add my Intern experience to EE profile.
But why CIC website gave points to my foreign experience? Will my PR application be rejected?
