so i got the golden email from CIC asking me to send my passport for the PR stamp and I emailed them back to say I am not in Canada but in Lima for school so can they change my processing office. i just got an email in my CIC account today and they asked me to send my passport to the canadian embassy in mexico.
Can someone tell me if this is correct? I am a bit confused right now.

I checked online and verified I do have to send it to Mexico as the embassy here in lima no longer processes PR applications and all PR applications are sent to the embassy in Mexico.
