CIC PR Thread [PNP -> Paper Based Application]

I am a OINP holder under foreign job offer stream paper based application. Someone know if my employer send a letter to CIC telling them that they are needing me to join them ASAP maybe my application will be review as an expedite? also with my PNP nomination I got a letter saying that I got the benefit of an expedited process but still running in a regular basis and I sent my request to CIC but nothing happened. what can I do? Thanks

Hey guys. I am new to this forum I have got MPNP nomination for skilled worker overseas and I am preparing documents to send for cic paper based application. In the document checklist I didn't see if I need to send proof of fund, employment letter and educational credentials. Do I need to send those documents or not?

Thank you for your response. I have checked the document but I couldn't find any information that says we need to send those documents. I am confused.

I have the following messages:

Application step Current status
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

This means that:
- My medical exams are OK? (I have them less than an year ago)
- I don't need an interview?
- I don't need fingerprints?
- They are reviewing my eligibility and prepossessing my background check ONLY?

every starts the same thing as yours. My AOR is march 2018, and I am still waiting for MR. so you still need to wait for at least 2-6 months to get MR. before this, you account will update nothing at all.

Sorry for late reply but yes that's the good news. it is your passport request email. I got similar one. I am hoping you would have sent your passport already.

Yes, I've sent it and got it back on Feb 28th. I got PPR the same day as you too. Just crossed the border today and now PR. To my surprise, they didn't issue any special papers like they used for work permit or study permit. Just gave my passport back with a cross in the Immigrant Visa, CoPR with some fillings and a paper named "Information for Permannent Residents" and removed my pgwp. How about you?
