CIC PR Thread [PNP -> Paper Based Application]

Hey guys,

Its first time I am on any forum. I applied my paper based inland PR application in January 2016. Done my medical in Jan 2017 and waiting for PPR.

I am tired of waiting and not able to focus on work, lol.. but its not fun..

Is there anyone on same situation with better news??

I think 6 months.
But PCC and MEDICAL are main issues. Cause they have 1 year validity, and u have to land with valid both of them.

1. I could not able to link my application...
2. By mistake i did not mentioned my email in Generic form.(But later I sent again generic form with LOE Include my email- received at CIO on 24 March)

I am Worry

- is my email updated with my application or not because there is no any application number mentioned.

How to confirm ...?

If not then how I can get the updates ...?

I can not link my application..

Reason is I don't have givenname in my generic form, but for linking application it is mandatory

[/quote] I had Couriered my file to cic before one month. I notice one mistake just now. I found typo graphical error while filling generic form, Where one letter is wrong in Given name. My given name as per passport is Jiten Sureshkumar , By mistake i wrote Jiten Sureskumar ( H is missing in Sureshkumar ). I am waiting for AOR. What i have to do ? Please guide me .

Hi All, this thread had been really quiet.

I have a few questions:
- Will CIC require proof of Funds at some point during application?
- Also, how long after AOR will they request medical?

Anyone has any updates on their application?


My Timeline:
-PR Paper application received by CIC: January 26, 2017
-Credit Card Charged: March 9, 2017
-AOR Received: March 14, 2017

I have linked my application number to my online account and no updates since then. Only says reviewing eligibility and processing background check.

AOR received on January 18th 2017
Medical request on February 20th 2017
Letter requesting for payment of RPRF on February 20th 2017

Yes pal.
I got the medical request on 20th Feb and I also got the request for payment of RPRF on the same date.
Mt medical is updated as passed.

Hi everyone,

Please i need assistance to correct a mistake on my application. In the generic form for Paper based application (PNP) to CIC, I entered "skilled worker" as the sub category instead of "provincial nominee program". Document was received on the 23 Feb, 2017 and because of this mix up, I can't seem to link my application online before AOR. Asides this, all other information entered are correct and submitted with the right document.

Is there anything based on experience that I may do?

You can only link your application online after AOR. This is simply because you need the application number and the UCI to link your application online. You can only get the application number after AOR

I got my MR 1month and 2 days after AOR
