Hi shrekkk, congrad!! Can you tell me what is your situation. when did you submit the application to mississauga, and when did you get approved by them, and when did the beijing received you application and when did they request for PP and when did you get approve.
I just want how long it take from the beginning to the final decision?
And by the way, what type of sponsor did you apply for?

Does anyone know when the VO in Beijing received the application CPMC, do they inform the applicant through email or mail, or do they just update the eCAS only, or they don't even bother to do the updating?
Thank you! We ve been through some painful waiting, and our case was not as fast as we expected. It's pretty simple and clear(first marriage for both of us,no kids, met at work,married one year ago ), we actually thought it would be finished in 4 months, ended up took almost 6 months.

it's 1c this week, a little windy so bring a windbreaker jacket. wear a couple layers and you'll be fine, you're lucky you missed the -22c we had last weekend

Sometime they do,not always to all applicants.It is called AOR.
If they informed you ,they send by e-mail.
Very a few people received by mail.
For beijing VO,they didn't update usually.
Although cases were not doing update,not worry,it is still going.

Wow!!!! on CIC website, the processing time for Beijing once the application has been received at the embassy there is 5 months now , one month added sent my wife's application in october it was received there on oct 31st waiting , am expecting it to reach china sometime in January ,i just hope it won't stay 5 more months there cold will kill me here Good luck to all of us still waiting!

Since November 14 of sponsor approval, until now still not hearing anything from VO nor update of eCAS, worry wondering whether the Beijing VO has received the file yet?

I have just been approved as a sponsor on January 10th 2012 and my wife's file is on it's way to Beijing
So right now hoping that the PPR will come soon!
