I would like to know if a child is born in India but parents having PR status
1) How to add the child to PR
2) How much time it would take for the child to become PR
3)Will the child be eligible for Canada Child Benefit after becoming PR?
Any pointers in the right direction is highly appreciated.

1) One of the parents must sponsor the child for PR. To qualify to sponsor that child for PR, the parent must be living in Canada.
2) Six months.
3) Yes - assuming the child and parents are living in Canada. If they are living outside of Canada, the child will not be eligible for CCB.

Me and my wife both are PR of Canada. We had our baby last year in India as we were stuck due to COVID. We already applied PR Sponsorship for our baby and got Application number. Currently my child is in Canada on a TRV. Are we eligible to get child care benefit?
Any one in same situation can help. What documents need to submit as a proof of Birth along with RCH66SCH form.
-copy of birth certificate/passport of child from their country
-maybe a copy of their healthcard.....if registered for provincial health
-apply for ccb asap
