I can understand what your going thru playing this endless waiting game, which at the end you dont know whose the winner. Let me ask you an relevant question: Do you know of other seamen like you, who applied same time and have been approved, did they have problems and delays after AOR from new delhi?

Did New Delhi give you a specific processing time in months for cases such as yours? ...I have been given 10 months from March 2012, and I can contact them 6 months after, which means the probably should have something for me September 2012.

guess u remember john590 from our thread. Read 10 and 12 pages of our thread. He is been approved after 5 months of medical and pp submission. & the 10 months letter is same for everyone.

I HV MY FBI READY BUT ITALIAN PCC IS NOT RECEIVED AFTER 3 MONTHS OF REQUEST. WAT SHOULD I DO. CAN I EXPLAIN THEM AGAIN THAT I MAY NOT NEED PCC FROM ITALY AS I WORKED IN CRUISE. Your post has make me nervous, I do not know what will happen to my case if the same issues apply. In my application I gave a written affidavit that our cruise never halts at any given port/country for more than 8 hrs maximum, so we are treated as employees / crew in transit.

I think you should write them an detailed explanation that TRANSIT CREW ARE NOT RESIDENTS.

No news yet, seems like the process for chefs and cooks has slowed down. But overall the process is going smoothly for others. I think DudeGujarat is the only poster is know in the chef category whose process was quick.

how did you apply for italy pcc and fbi? Please enlist the step ( I may need this if the request at a later stage, thanks in advance chef ). I am in mumbai for 2 months, to resume back first week next month.
