Today hopefully we can expect some BIG NEWS from Jason Kenney in his key note speech at the The Haskayne School of Business immigration policy conference.
*The Immigration Landscape: What Are Canada's Priorities and Challenges?
*Demographic Challenges and Labour Shortages
*How Has Immigration Policy Responded?
*Improving Canada's Attractiveness for Immigrants
Keynote luncheon address: Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, Canada.
Frankly speaking, there has been so many FSW news floating around now a days. Everyone is just eagerly waiting to see the changes (if any) or something else (as you said freezing) on coming July 1.
Nobody is sure about anything till now, and FSW has become a mystery for people like us.
In my opinion, there would be NO CHANGE and they will re-set MI-5 as same as previous year.
Guys this is totally a rumour and nothing else....think in a this way, if this has to be happened then why it's not published on CIC website. The media is showing some modified news and making others to read such news on their portals.
Understand one thing, the news which we've been seen on CIC website are AUTHENTIC (be it related to proposed changes or smooth application process).
So don't spread this rumour any more because this doesn't have anything related to coming July FSW openings.
Refer to CIC website only i would suggest for the correct & authentic updates and nothing else !!

"guys,
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp
its official NOCs have been removed....
only 2 categories are allowed
1 with job offer and 2nd phd or international students in canada
hope we will get our visas soon...but feel sorry for those who were gonna apply in july 2012..
cheers!!!!" ---- i am quoting this from Dentista82 from another thread...i checked the link and it's clearly stated that only 2 categories - one with AOE and the other with PhD - will be accepted on or after July 01, 2012....
