EK is best along with Singapore Airlines but Philippines is in the Pacific Ocean. EK first goes to Manila and then to Dubai and to Toronto. This would cost him much more than choosing the flight directly from manilla to Vancouver over the Pacific.

if you want to take more stuffs then China Airlines (operated by Taiwan) is the best for you. Their fare is cheaper than others. You'll have to go to New Delhi or Bombay from Dhaka and then to Taiwan and then to Vancouver or Toronto over the Pacific. They allow 2 pieces of 32 Kilos each and a hand luggage. one of the BD guys did travel using China airlines, Cant remember his name.
Apart from that, your best route is Emirates. From Dhaka- Dubai-Toronto(14 hours non stop).
You can However choose Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines ( They have Vancouver over the Pacific), Thai Airways, Kuwait Airways --- all of them have Transatlantic flights connecting Heathrow and then to Canadian cities in Air Canada.
China Airlines has connecting flight from Delhi-Taiwan-Vancouver- Toronto(by Air Canada). This is more suitable for people landing in Vancouver and needs to take 32kilos X 2 +7 Kilos . Please ask any good Travel agency to know their fare. I am looking for the BD guy who traveled using China Airlines from DAC.
All airlines have the extra baggage facility but you gotta pay them for the extra weight. Emirates charge extra $100 for 7-10 kilos extra over their allowed 23 kilos X2 +7 Kilos.
You can use Bangladesh's General Post Office's Parcel carrying facilities to ship more goods but I wonder what are those huge things by the way !
Emirates cost USD 1297.00 + Taxes USD 54.90 One way
