I agree with that statement. However, countries cannot apply different rules for some people. The Canadian charter says that everyone is equal before that law, but in case of some celebrities they are able to enter despite their criminal past. There's no legal justification for this and it is unfair to families who were separated from their loved ones who do not get the same treatment.
