Hi, I've just arrived to Canada and have a visitor visa till May 1st 2010 and my husband has a work permit till that date.
I am wondering what would be my chances in changing it into Student Visa as I am now considering TOEFL course and a Full-Time University Course? Can I apply within Canada to change this? If it is rejected will my visitor visa be also cancelled? Thanks

As your spouse is on a work permit, you can apply to Vegreville for a study permit. See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-student.asp
