Hi all,

I have a question regarding changing program after traveling to Canada, I want to study in a program that is not related to my past education and work experience and start a completely different career, but I will not get my study permit approved because of this, so I thought of applying to a master or PG diploma and then after traveling to Canada and studying for couple month I can change my program and study in a completely different one, do you think that IRCC will approve this or will this cause me issue in the future when I apply for PR later?

Is it worth it to pay for a full semester and then change DLI? If it is, then you can change your DLI after period of Active Study in Canada.

I think it is worth to pay for, but is there a chance of refusing the request to change DLI or consider it illegal thing by IRCC?

Its not illegal provided you meet condition to change your DLI. I can't speak about chance of refusal, that's up to VO to decide. However there are members who changed their DLI and it was okey
