Does anyone know what is the procedure for changing the program at the same university/college once the study permit is approved and you are still outside Canada?
The approval was for a post-graduate program (1 year) but the new program is a 2 year diploma (same college).
The CIC website is very confusing on this topic.
I would recommend you to ask directly to the college. They usually have immigration experts for international students. They may advice you better on what to do.

Change of program is between you and your DLI. IRCC says they don't worry about that and you don't have to inform them. Check their Twitter handle - they repeat this almost on a daily basis.
