I have to move to BC by the end of June, But I am still waiting for my oath letter, my test was on April 10th Montreal, no RQ, When I leave montreal I have to let CIC know about my moving, but I heard changing local office means delay, If I move and dont tell CIC about this change is that illegal? I dont want to do anything illegal. :-\
It's better to complete the process in the same province, but If your move cannot be delayed you have 2 options
1-let the things as they are and come back for the old province for the oath ( my freind moved from Montreal to Regina without informing CIC , He had to travel twice ,,one time for test and another time for oath. he got his citizenship already
2-inform them by phone and change your addressee in the system so they can look for a ceremony next to your new location....and you can avoid costly travel

Hi springtime
I also moved from Montreal to Calgary but I didn't change my address as my parents were living at the same address. I got my citizenship on may 23. I also submitted RQ after i Moved to Calgary. On the RQ form I gave my Calgary add on current add and permanent Add i didnt change. There was no prob getting Citizenship though i had to travel twice for the test and Oath. Hope that will help.
