I applied for PR as FSW. I was single then. I got ITA in Nov 2020. I got married in Oct 2021 and was not able to notify them in time because I had to fill my visa office and I did not know it. Following ADR in Feb 2022, I notified them of change in Marital status.
They asked for additional documents for my spouse in March 2022. At the time, my spouse had a job in UK and had signed 1 year contract from June 2022 to May 2023. Considering his contract, I didn't know how early I will get called to enter Canada so I filled him as non-accompanying spouse.
Now I just got a request to submit my passport this August 2022. I also learnt that I will have 1 year period within which I should land in canada. I am reconsidering changing my spouse to accompanying so that we can travel together bu May 2023. Can I change from non-accompanying to accompanying spouse? Will it affect my application? We have paid the processing fees and right of Permanent Residence fee too. He has all documentation and valid medicals.
