CHANGE of VISA OFFICE [from Ottawa to Local VO] - Anyone ?

On the Express Entry website, for France:

cic.gc.ca/submit-envoyer/offices-bureaux-eng.asp#F

I tried Option 1 today: Submit your passport at the visa application centre (VSF Global for Paris): they said: we don't take passports for Permanent Residency..
So May we have to try directly option 2 as explained: mail In to the Candian Embassy on Paris ?

If so, it's simple and well explained...

Or may we have to wait for the answer from the Ottawa email adress?

It's been a week now asked for VO office change. No reply till now. I have to change for me and my spouse. Did it take more than 2 weeks for anyone?

I am also in the same boat. Requested them to change to local VO (Germany) on August 20. Its just been a week. So I am guessing, that I might have to maybe wait another week looking at rest of the time-lines.

It took me a day. I have to change mine from Ottawa to Singapore VO for me and Philippine VO for my dependents. Try sending them an email during canada office hours to avoid your email from being piled over. And yes, you should receive an email on your mycic (and personal email). PPR letter content should come from the visa office you requested.

Just now i received letter in My CIC asking to submit passport in New Delhi office after my VO change request to me at UK and spouse in New Delhi.

I got one letter in MyCIC for my spouse and sent her passport today. I'm expecting my letter from UK VO (today is national holiday here)and its pending. Is my understanding above correct or it comes from Ottawa itself?

JFYI - My spouse passport is stamped and sent back through courier. i am still awaiting my VO change letter to submit in London,UK. (It took 3 working days--we sent on Monday and they sent it back Thursday and this is in New Delhi, One of my friend last week sent on Friday(14th aug) and they sent it back after stamping on Monday(25th aug) )

It was activated today and we will receive it tomorrow. You should receive the return tracker end of next week for sure.

Some update on my side as well.

After I got identical PPR request by email, yesterday I received a proper PPR request at mycic. This request letter was completely different, compared to the original PPR request from mycic. It had detailed information on how to send my passport to Vienna, and was only in English.

But the information on this new PPR matched on what is said on the VFS and VAC websites.

No not necessarily. My close friend landed in different province though. Do not worry. Quebec is exception and shouldn't.
