Change of University after landing in Canada

Hi,

Do we need to apply for a new study permit if we change University?
I am PhD student in one of Universities in Quebec and want to move in University of Calgary.
I have admission letter from University of Calgary.
On my previous study permit it is written "INSTITUTION: Other College, Ontario".
What does it mean??

1. No, you don't require a new study permit to change schools, as long as it is a designated school.

Hi i am an international student studying in a university in canada .I have joined in winter 2015.I have applied for some universities with low fee for fall 2015.If i get the admission in any of those universities can i withdraw from this(present)university from summer and join the new university for fall .will there be any problem if i do that??please suggest me
