Change of name in landing interview

Hi i just wanted to ask if its possible to changes my name in my application.i have a landing interview on nov 19 and just received my renewed passport with my married name. I called cic and they told me to fax a letter explaining the change of my name and copy of my marriage contract an passport.please advice thanks..

I have heard of people that changed their name just before landing interview and just provided everything on the landing interview day without any issue (wedding certificate and new passport)
