I am 2016 pass out mechanical engineering graduate. I got study permit to Canada with an offer letter from a college for September intake, but now I got an offer from an university for January intake.I would like to join at University since it could give me better opportunities. To cancel the college admission and withdraw tuition fee from college, I have to go there now.So, do I need to come back after the procedures and apply for new study permit? Please do reply.
It may get complicated and you may lose money. If study permit says any degree/ institute, you can change it. If not, you have to reapply with lesser chance of success.

Does study permit allow to change the degree/institute with offer letter for coming intake?

You go to Canada withdawan from the institution and from online CIC portal request to change dli number and they will change it or ask for updated study permit with this one and reason. But there is a problem, after when you apply for work permit or study permit you will have to face some problem because once you get visa, study permit and admission you have to finish atleast two semester after you can transfer.
Even if, I informed in my CIC portal about my Institution change, should I have to face problems in getting work permit?? We are informing them to avoid those problems. And Whats the need of transfer after completing two semesters?
