Hey guys,

I changed our address in ECAS more than 3 weeks ago and it is still showing the old one. I changed it again yesterday, I hope its going to work soon. I also wonder how much they check ECAS anyway when you apply from outside the country!?!

I feel like I should send the embassy in Vienna, which is responsible for our application, an email that we changed our address. Has anyone done that before? Is there maybe a good way to communicate to them for that kinda stuff? I found two options under http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/vienna.asp

1. just an email to vienn-visa @ international.gc.ca
2. or a case specific enquiry/message through the website https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=vienna

I wonder what is better? Maybe even calling them or something? I don't want to delay my application if I do the wrong thing, especially with these long waiting times at the moment...

oh my Gosh it seems like everybody are having the same problem , some is phone number some are addresses , yes maybe you better mail and email the office , and phone them . you know there are some who use case specific enquiry but nothing happened so if I were you I will do mail, email and phone , fax if there is fax , to make it will be updated ,

If you can find a phone number that would probably be your best option.

I/we submitted our application December and as soon as we got access on our eCAS, we already noticed the error and filed for a change of address request. So, now I replied on this thread, I guess you probably know what happened. Haha.

in enquiry?????

I'm a little confused about the messages but I'll send out a case specific enquiry and hope that they will change the address in the application and also give a notice about it. I dont know if thats the best way though

The way I changed my address was, that I sent them my new address though email. And after a couple of days they answer me: " Thank u for yr information". And when I check ECAS it is new address. It was not big deal. :)
