Change Oath Ceremony Date?

femzade and coolguysam, when was it your friends rescheduled their oaths? In the past year, or further back?

my friend got oath invite in mid Jan 2015, oath scheduled for end of Jan 2015. He rescheduled and he got letter in Mid April 2015 and he got oath couple of days back (Vancouver Office)

I got my new oath ceremony date today. It is rescheduled for June 16th, 2015. I sent rescehduling request via fax and mail and it worked. Based on CIC, as long as you provide a reason for not attending the ceremony, they will reschedule you.

i received my oath ceremony in jan 2015.it waZ one jan 28.but I already scheduled my trip to India.so I write a letter to cic surrey office about my trip.i wrote them tht u m coming back on April 15 2015.bur I didn't here anything yet till June 14 2015.is there anyone on same boat.what should I do now

What does your online e-cas status show? Did CIC accept your reason for reschedule?
Usually it takes 2 to 3 months for rescheduling. As you told CIC that you would be coming back on April 15th 2015 thus CIC may be scheduling your oath somewhere before July end. Contact the call centre at 1-888-242-2100 to confirm the details regarding your oath rescheduling.

When you received the oath letter in January, did you contact CIC to reschedule your appointment? Did they accept the reason for rescheduling the oath? If yes, did you tell them the dates when you would be away? If you want, you may call CIC call centre and ask them about when would you be getting the oath invite.

MY friend is from Vancouver. My friend had oath scheduled for end of January 2015 however he was away to his home country. He requested a reschedule and got a letter to appear for oath in April end and gave oath in May 2015.

Yes I called cic about oath date .they told me tht ur oath will be on July 16 but not sure.if it confirmed thn they will send u later 2 weeks before
