Here is complicated case of names. DO I need to make a new passport after marriage if my husbands name is changed after marriage???
1) MY name before marriage ------ "X" -- I have all my documents in this name including my passport
2) My Husbands name -------- "Y"
3) After marriage we made marriage certificate with "X" and "Y" names and affidavit to support it.
4) Now I changed my Husbands name - only surname changed(coz his surname was based on place and not matching with rest of his family members!!--whatever!)
5) He got passport with his new name ----- "Z" (same name different surname than "y")
6) His passport has spouse name as (my first name ...HIs name....HIs new surname)
7) I have my SBI account with (my first name ...HIs name....HIs new surname)
Do I need to file a new passport for this name change???
