I am looking to change my employer in my not expired workpermit (expires in Feb, 2017) that has a specific employer that is not longer my employer.
I am exempt of the LMIA under the code T23 Professional/Technician (NAFTA, applies for US and Mexican citizens) and I have a new offer of employment.
In the CIC web page, International Mobility Program: North American Free Trade Agreement section 3.3 it says: Facilitated entry under the NAFTA allows a professional to apply at a POE. An application can also be made at a visa office before departing for Canada.
My questions here are:
Has someone done this? If so, could you share your experience? What documents should I present at the POE? Was the workpermit granted the same day at the POE?
