I'm a Canadian PR currently working in the US. I'm married but my wife isn't a Canadian PR and doesn't currently have any Canadian visa. I want to know, what are the chances that I'll get Canadian PR again if I surrender it now ?
Reasons for surrendering are two:
1) I want to migrate to Canada with my wife, but Canadian immigration law prevents me from doing that. CIC requires me to enter Canada alone and then sponsor my wife, which can take a year or so. Giving up my Canadian PR means that I can then apply as a couple, and be able to enter Canada with my wife, should I get the PR again.
2) My Canadian PR is expiring in August 2021, by when I need to have spent two years in Canada. This requires me to move to Canada sometime in the next year. Due to personal circumstances, I need some more time to move to Canada.

No one can tell you for sure, because by the time you feel you're ready to apply for PR again, for all we know, the program requirements have changed.
But assuming the program requirements for foreign skilled workers stay the same in the future, you have a good shot as you're eligible and you submit all the requirements.
Alternatively, can your wife qualify for PR through Express Entry on her own?
